WAVY PROJECTS
June 9th, 2025 is a day I'll never forget- my very first day representing a newsroom. I was honored to have been selected to begin my television news career in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, a top 50 TV news market.
To represent an organization with so much history, talent, and great content means everything to me. Going out in the field daily has allowed me to grow immensely as a journalist, from the many different stories and locations to breaking news and tight deadlines.
As a news photographer I love being out on assignment. What enjoy the most is information gathering, and connecting with the community to piece any type of story together.
Before I started at WAVY, I came in with the mindset of "If I want to tell a story in front of the camera, I need to learn how to tell one behind it." Working in a diverse market like Norfolk has allowed me to cover a wide variety of stories across the Hampton Roads. You can find some of my official work as a photographer and MMJ below.
