WAVY-TV 10
June 9th, 2025 is a day I'll never forget- my very first day representing a newsroom. I was honored to have been selected to begin my television news career in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, a top 45 market.
Going out in the field daily has allowed me to grow immensely as a journalist, from the variety of stories and locations to breaking news and tight deadlines. What enjoy the most is information gathering, and connecting with the community to piece any type of story together.
Before starting at WAVY, I told myself "If I want to tell a story in front of the camera, I need to learn how to tell one behind it." Working in the diverse, wide Hampton Roads market has allowed me to cover a large variety of stories.
